Oasis International School mission statement
The Oasis school group initiated from the will to combine excellence and fulfillment through a French education, while fostering an international non-restricted vision and to infuse our students in the roots of their own culture.
To reach this objective, the school offers to its students a demanding education of high standards, by focusing on the development of moral, sports, creative as well as intellectual aptitudes.
Learning three languages, by stressing on their oral practices, teaches the students to appreciate the cultures and the different thought processes.
By offering a large space to the new technologies and the artistic learning, the Oasis School Group looks to shape women and men rigorous and open, whom, while having their place in the world, will also be capable to encounter their evolution and get engaged.
Oasis assigns itself an essential objective of offering to the students the tools that will allow them to shape themselves on their own, to be accounted for responsibilities and react in perfect symbiosis with cultural persons and different horizons without losing their own identity.

Our school puts a point of honor for the trainings, as each member of the community has the opportunity to attend regular training. Our educational teams are trained in the field of international education, whether in Egypt or abroad. Our administrative and service staff follow appropriate training specific to their areas.
All of our teachers are certified and specialized in the subject they teach. They all work closely with each other and are supervised by the coordinators of each program.
The school canteen offers our students a balanced diet meal. So we choose to work with a restaurant which combines nutritional quality and diversity in their menu. To enable our students to discover the culinary specialties of the world around us, a monthly theme is organized every month on the different cuisines.
The purchase at the canteen is made through charging student ID card.
Each campus has an infirmary, to provide emergency care. There is a qualified doctor and a nurse. The care of pupils follow strict rigor with appropriate drugs. The equipment is complete and sterile to deal with any event . Care is rigorously adapted to each case.
In case of real emergency , students are taken to hospital in Maadi Al Salam International . We also receive regular visits from an expert doctor who comes to work in collaboration with our professionals.
Oasis International School places the highest importance on the safety of students, staff and visitors.
The school maintains and develops proactive and reactive risk management strategies. The safety and security directors work closely with agents trained, skilled, well trained and equipped.
A system of CCTV and IP cameras is installed inside and outside the school premises which allows video monitoring and recording any events in case of incidents.
All students and staff are allowed to enter the campus using the ID card which records all data movement.
Only authorized visitors leave their ID at the security office in exchange with a visitor badge.
In 2007, 2nd promotion of IB students.
It all started in 1989 with the opening of a small nursery hosting only 5 children.
In 1994, the Oasis School in Maadi opened its doors and became the first private school to teach in French-language in Egypt since 60 years.
In 2002, Oasis International School received official permission to teach the Primary Years Programme (PYP) and the Middle Years Programme (MYP) of the International Baccalaureate Organization.
In 2004, Oasis International School is the first school to be authorized to teach the three IB programs in French: PYP and MYP since 2002 then the DP Programme.
In 2006, inauguration of the new Oasis International School campus for the MYP and DP students.
In 2006, the first promotion of students who obtained the Diploma of International Baccalaureate.
In 2008, 3rd promotion of IB students.
In 2005, the first promotion of students who obtained the Diploma of Thanaweya Amma (The Egyptian National Baccalaureate).
In 2009, 4th promotion of IB students with excellent results: one of our student obtained the grade of 43/45 (99.80%) and another one the grade of 40/45 (99.15%).
In 2010, 5th promotion of IB students.
In 2010, opening of the Primary building for the Primary Years Program (PYP).
In 2011, 6th promotion of IB students.
In 2011, inauguration of the spectacle room / polyvalente room of the PYP MYP DP campus.
In 2012, 7th promotion of IB students.
In 2012, launch of the program (iPad 1 to 1) turns Oasis International School the first school in Egypt offering this technology to groups of classes in full.
In 2013, 8th promotion of IB students with remarkable grades as one student received the grade of 43/45 and 4 other students received grades between 40 and 42.
In 2013, practical experience allow students to become involved in their own learning, Oasis school develops the Adventure Learning approach.

In 2014, 9th promotion of IB students.
In 2014, Oasis International School actively participates in the implementation of the IB programmes in a public school; the school is "The Egyptian International School in El Marag" which opened in October 2014.
In 2015, 10th promotion of IB students.
In 2015, Oasis International School receives permission to teach the Career-Related Programme and thus became the first school in the world to be authorized to teach the 4 IB programmes in French.
In 2015, to ensure effective discipline over the long term, Oasis International School develops gradually the Positive Discipline approach.
In 2016, THIMUN affiliation (The Hague Model United Nations) for our OISMUN conference.
The Egyptian International School in El Marag received from the International Baccalaureate Organization the official authorization to teach the Primary Years Program.
We are in our 4th year of applying Positive Discipline and we have just received the official recognition of "Positive Discipline Lab School" for 2018/2019. Our goal is to continue to implement Positive Discipline as a global approach from Kindergarten to Diploma in order to have an impact on our community and on the Egyptian community.
